Lightweight= fun

Lightweight with good enough components and responsive breaks. Geometry appears to keep weight low, which helps with stability and turning.
Long story short- yes, we tried Strider bikes when my child was a toddler and she didn’t like them, and then outgrew them. She was tall and ok on a standard training wheel bike but it was half her weight and burdensome for her to manage on hills, over bumps etc. She was over reliant on the training wheels, scared it would tip and it really didn’t boost her confidence.
We set this bike up with everything but the pedals and positioned the seat low and she practiced coasting and balancing. A week later the pedals were on and she was off! Very happy with purchase and will pass down to siblings and hopefully have some resale value in the future.
